MTBE Case Against Sunoco Can Proceed: Judge

Law360, New York (July 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge presiding over the multidistrict litigation over gasoline additive methyl tertiary butyl ether has refused to grant summary judgment to Sunoco Inc. and one of its entities, allowing plaintiffs to proceed with allegations that the company contaminated their drinking water.
