American Airlines, Google Settle Trademark Dispute

Law360, New York (July 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Google Inc. has settled a trademark infringement suit brought by American Airlines Inc., which accused the leading search engine of helping third parties mislead consumers through its sponsored links.

Judge John McBride of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas granted the companies' joint motion to dismiss the case on Thursday.
