Law360, New York (April 26, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal district judge has once again pushed back the sentencing of short seller Anthony Elgindy, who was convicted 15 months ago on charges of racketeering, conspiracy and securities fraud by a Brooklyn jury.
Although Elgindy’s sentencing was scheduled for late last year, it was postponed several times. Last month, U.S. District Court Judge Raymond Dearie said he needed additional time to look over the case, and extended the sentencing date to May 2.
