W.L. Gore Says Medtronic Patents Are Invalid

Law360, New York (July 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Responding to Medtronic Inc.'s lawsuit alleging patent infringement of intravascular stents, W.L. Gore & Associates Inc. has moved for summary judgment, arguing that some of the patents at issue are invalid because they don't actually disclose how to make the stent in question, and others are obvious and don't state the boundaries of the claim.
