Motorola Settles $10B Trade Secrets Dispute

Law360, New York (July 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A $10 billion trade secrets case against Motorola Corp. has fizzled out after the cell phone maker and a now-defunct Florida-based company agreed to settle the case on Tuesday for an undisclosed amount.

Motorola and SPS Technologies Corp. agreed to settle just hours after an earlier hearing to discuss the settlement was canceled because both sides had not yet come to terms.
