Law360, New York (April 28, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Intellectual property law firm Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP will shell out a massive $150,000 salary to its first-year associates, marking the highest wage offered by any law firm in the country.
The firm revealed the bump earlier this week, beating out a slew of other law firms that have raised their base salaries to $145,000 over the past few months.
“Candidly, other firms started raising their salaries,” said managing partner, Edgar Haug, when asked about the reasoning behind the soaring pay scale.
