Law360, New York (July 24, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Nokia Corp. and Qualcomm Inc. have agreed to settle all litigation between the two companies in a global battle over licensing fees for Qualcomm's global system for mobile communications and other patents.
The 15-year agreement, announced Thursday, gives the Finnish phone giant rights to use all of Qualcomm's patents for a variety of mobile communications technologies in both the devices it sells to consumers and its infrastructure equipment.
