Judge Dismisses McAfee Suit Against WilmerHale

Law360, New York (July 25, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit brought by security software maker McAfee Inc. in an effort to force WilmerHale LLP to forfeit most of the $12 million the company paid the firm to represent its former CEO in a criminal securities action.

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas said the order to dismiss McAfee's claims will become final once the court enters a written order.
