Aloft Hits Cell Phone Makers With Browser Patent Suit

Law360, New York (July 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Patent-holding company Aloft Media LLC on Tuesday lodged a patent suit against AT&T Inc. and the world's largest cell phone makers, accusing them of infringing a patent related to a data networking system.

Filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the suit also names Palm Inc., Nokia Corp., Research in Motion Ltd., Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB and Motorola Inc.
