Deals Rumor Mill: Time Warner, Alibaba, BAE Systems

By Benjamin Horney (April 24, 2015, 6:26 PM EDT) -- Another major cable deal could be in the works, as Charter Communications Inc. may soon make a bid to buy Time Warner Cable Inc., according to a Friday report from the Wall Street Journal. Such a move would come on the heels of Comcast Corp.'s ultimately failed efforts to buy Time Warner, which officially unraveled on Friday. According to the report, Charter could soon approach Time Warner with an offer, although no potential price tag was disclosed. Charter likely will not go the hostile takeover route, the report added....
