EPA Head Chastised By Union Officials At Agency

Law360, New York (August 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Four union officials at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency have lambasted Administrator Stephen Johnson for subverting the work of his staff by opposing measures to regulate greenhouse gas emissions.

In a letter sent July 30 and disclosed Monday by the environmental group Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, the union officials expressed dismay over the way an advance notice of proposed rulemaking was presented for public comment.
