Reed Smith Grabs Kirkland & Ellis Patent Litigator

Law360, New York (August 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former Kirkland & Ellis LLP partner Michael Bregenzer joined Reed Smith LLP in Chicago Tuesday as a partner in the intellectual property group of the firm's litigation department.

Bregenzer's practice focuses mainly on technology-based litigation, such as cell phone, semiconductor and gaming patents, and counts litigating patents for proprietary casino games, such as Let It Ride and Three Card Poker, among his memorable cases.
