Walgreens Sues CVS Over Mail-Order Rx Market

Law360, New York (August 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Walgreen Co. has sued rival CVS Caremark Corp. for allegedly blocking its participation in a Tennessee mail-order pharmacy program and conspiring to remain the program's exclusive provider.

Walgreens filed the suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee in an effort to compel Caremark to open the doors to the program, which is run by health insurer BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the complaint says.
