Law360, New York (August 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Biotech rivals Eppendorf AG and Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. have made amends in two patent infringement lawsuits over cell-breeding and DNA absorption technology.
The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday granted the dismissal of Eppendorf’s suit over cell-breeding techniques with prejudice just a day after the Eastern District of Texas dismissed with prejudice Bio-Rad’s suit related to an electric process that speeds up cells’ ability to absorb DNA.
