Law Firms Prepare For Expected Climate Regulations

Law360, New York (August 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Although there is currently no mandatory federal program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, many law firms are forming climate change practice groups to help prepare for what they see as an inevitability.

“Just about anyone you talk to believes we will have federal greenhouse gas limits in place within the next few years,” said Dan Adamson, co-chair of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP's climate change practice group.
