'Guitar Hero' Patent Case Stayed Pending Re-Exam

Law360, New York (August 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Gibson Guitar Corp.'s patent lawsuit against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and others over the wildly popular “Guitar Hero” series of video games will be stayed pending both the outcome of a similar case in California and a re-examination of the patent-at-issue, a judge has ruled.
