EPA To Update Beach Water Standards By 2012

Law360, New York (August 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has agreed to revise its standards for evaluating water quality at beaches by December 2012 in order to settle a 2006 lawsuit with the National Resources Defense Council, the National Association of Clean Water Agencies and Los Angeles County.
