Raytheon Honcho Alleges Race, Gender Discrimination

Law360, New York (August 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A black female vice president at defense contractor Raytheon Co. has filed a lawsuit against the company, accusing it of subjecting her to a hostile work environment, harassment and retaliation.

In the lawsuit filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Cassandra Matthews claims that Raytheon discriminates against its minority employees as a practice. She is seeking an injunction and damages compensation.
