Ikea, Volvo Slap SAS Over Air Cargo Cartel Losses

Law360, New York (August 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Several major Swedish companies have reportedly sued Scandinavian airline SAS Cargo over its involvement in an international air cargo cartel.

Ikea Services AB, clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz AB and automotive manufacturer AB Volvo were among the companies to sue, according to Swedish public service television station SVT.

A spokeswoman for H&M said that the group of companies was "doing this together," Dow Jones reported.

Representatives for SAS, H&M, Ikea and Volvo were not immediately available for comment Monday.
