BofA Wins $411M In Natural Gas Case

Law360, New York (August 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has awarded Bank of America NA $411 million after a three-year legal battle with American Electric Power Energy Services Gas Holding Co. over security interest in 55 billion cubic feet of natural gas in South Texas formerly owned by Enron.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge Thomas Griesa of the Southern District of New York dismissed all of AEP's claims against BofA, awarding the bank damages for its counterclaims along with prejudgment interest.
