Law360, New York (August 29, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Charter Communications Inc., the country's third-largest cable operator, has been hit with a proposed class action accusing it of failing to pay proper wages and overtime in violation of the laws of the 29 states where the company operates.
The suit was filed Thursday in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin on behalf of former Charter employee MarcGoodell. According to the complaint, Goodell, a resident of Monroe, Mich., was employed as a broadband technician for the company from 2005 to 2007.
