Hospital Operator Settles Pregnancy Bias Case

Law360, New York (September 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Hospital operator Catholic Healthcare West has entered into a consent decree with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to resolve claims that one of its hospitals discriminated against pregnant workers by limiting the procedures on which they were allowed to work.
