Real Estate Rumor Mill: Chetrit, Apple, Sam Applegrad

By Andrew McIntyre (July 30, 2015, 4:22 PM EDT) -- Clipper Equity LLC and Chetrit Group LLC have scored $345.5 million in financing for their Gramercy Square residential development project in New York, Commercial Observer reported Wednesday. The borrowers snagged a $280 million senior loan from Natixis Real Estate Capital LLC, Bank of China Ltd., Maybank, TD Bank NA and Investors Bank, while inking a $65.5 million mezzanine loan from Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance Inc., according to the report. The borrowers are developing 223 luxury condos at Gramercy Square, the report said....
