Calif. AG Sues Turf Makers For No Lead Warnings

Law360, New York (September 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- California's attorney general has filed suit accusing three synthetic turf manufacturers of violating state law by failing to warn consumers about the lead contained in their products.

The suit claims Beaulieu Group LLC, AstroTurf LLC and FieldTurf USA Inc. have violated Proposition 65 for failing to warn people about their potential exposure to a substance known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.
