City National Settles DataTreasury Patent Suit

Law360, New York (September 04, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- DataTreasury Corp. has reached another settlement in its ongoing patent infringement suit over check-imaging and other banking technology, agreeing to drop its claims against City National Corp. as part of a licensing deal.

DataTreasury and City National filed a joint motion on Wednesday asking the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas to dismiss all claims and counterclaims between them with prejudice. The parties will bear their own costs and attorneys' fees, according to the motion.
