Dental Implant Makers Settle For $2M

Law360, New York (September 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Swiss dental implant company Nobel Biocare has settled an unfair competition lawsuit in which it accused rival Keystone Dental Inc. of poaching its employees and inducing a breach of their confidentiality agreements.

Under the settlement, Keystone will pay Nobel $2 million. The settlement also prohibits Keystone from trying to hire any Nobel employees until February 2009 and requires Keystone to destroy any confidential or proprietary information in its possession, the press release says.
