BLM Tags Public Lands For Oil Shale Development

Law360, New York (September 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Bureau of Land Management published its plan on Friday to set aside almost 2 million acres of public lands to be leased for commercial oil shale development, which it believes could yield billions of barrels of oil to replace foreign imports.
