Law360, New York (September 08, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has refused to postpone the trial of two attorneys accused of keeping millions of dollars meant for plaintiffs in a class action settlement over the diet drug Fen-phen.
The attorneys, William Gallion and Shirley Cunningham Jr., were scheduled to stand trial on Oct. 14. But Gallion moved to postpone the trial, saying that because of various conflicts, he could not be available until after April 2009.
