Piper Rudnick Eyes IP Acquisitions in 2004

Law360, New York (January 2, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Piper Rudnick, one of the largest law firms in the U.S., is planning an aggressive expansion of its intellectual property practice this year, mostly through acquisitions, the head of the firm’s IP practice told IP Law Bulletin.

“We’re particularly interested in expanding our IP litigation business, which will become a core practice area,” said Mark I. Feldman, the chair of Piper Rudnick’s intellectual property practice, who is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
