Jury Zaps Cooper's Electrical Connector Patents

Law360, New York (September 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal jury has shot down electrical products manufacturer Cooper Technologies Inc.'s bid for damages and injunctive relief in a patent suit against Thomas & Betts Corp., finding the two patents Cooper Technologies asserted invalid on the grounds that they were obvious in light of prior art.
