WWE Claims May Be Barred By Agreement: Judge

Law360, New York (September 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Finding that attorneys for World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. have made conflicting claims about a key piece of evidence in two different cases accusing toy maker Jakks Pacific Inc. of bribery and antitrust violations, a federal judge has reconsidered his earlier ruling that WWE's claims were not precluded by an agreement made between the parties before the case was filed.
