Judge Splits Difference In Pfizer Discovery Dispute

Law360, New York (September 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The plaintiffs' attorneys in a putative securities class action against Pfizer Inc. said Thursday that they would ask for up to 40 million pages of documents that were previously produced in the product liability litigation over the anti-inflammatory drugs Celebrex and Bextra.

The securities plaintiffs are accusing Pfizer and five individual defendants of artificially inflating the value of the company's stock by concealing certain information about Celebrex and Bextra and by making misstatements to investors.
