Law360, New York (September 22, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has reportedly determined that perchlorate, an ingredient found in rocket fuel that has been linked to thyroid complications, does not need to be removed from U.S. drinking water.
The EPA made its decision in a draft regulatory document not yet released to the public, according to the Associated Press, which obtained a copy of the document on Monday.
