Moscow Court Slaps Yukos With More Debt

Law360, New York (June 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In another hit to the beleaguered oil company, a Moscow court added $13 billion in back-tax claims to the Russian government to the lengthy list of debts Yukos owes, making a possible liquidation more likely than ever.

The ruling makes Russia the largest creditor in the $30 billion bankruptcy.
