FBI Police Class Certified In Wage Dispute

Law360, New York (September 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge granted class certification on Friday to a group of police officers for the FBI who sued the bureau and the U.S. Department of Justice demanding back pay and restitution for lost wages.

Judge Emily C. Hewitt of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims ruled that the FBI police officers met all the qualifications necessary to be granted class certification. The officers filed their complaint in August 2007.
