Enviro Groups Sue For Wolverine Endangered Listing

Law360, New York (October 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service disregarded scientific evidence about the threats to the U.S. wolverine population when it decided not to list the animal as endangered, conservation groups have alleged in a new lawsuit.

The suit was filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the District of Montana by Defenders of Wildlife and the Center for Biological Diversity, among others.
