Rembrandt Sues Tech Cos. Over Dial-Up Patents

Law360, New York (October 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rembrandt Data Technologies LP has sued several companies for allegedly infringing four patents related to dial-up modem technology.

The complaint, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, targets AOL LLC, Cavalier Telephone LLC, The Brinks Company, ADT Security Services Inc., DirecTV Inc., Hewlett-Packard Co., Canon USA Inc. and some of their subsidiaries and affiliates.
