Deals Rumor Mill: SanDisk, Ferrari, China Reinsurance

By Benjamin Horney (October 13, 2015, 6:46 PM EDT) -- SanDisk Corp. has hired a bank to help look into a potential sale of the company, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday, and the chipmaker has already received interest from two rivals, Micron Technology Inc. and Western Digital Corp. According to the report, SanDisk, which holds a partnership with Toshiba Corp. in Japan, could be worth as much as $12.6 billion. Toshiba would likely have to sign off on a sale, the report added....
