GPU Class Asks Court To OK $1.7M Settlement

Law360, New York (October 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A class of direct purchasers is seeking to resolve its multidistrict action alleging Nvidia Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. conspired to fix prices of graphics processing units after the defendants agreed to pay $1.7 million.

Class counsel Boies Schiller & Flexner LLP asked the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday to preliminarily sign off on the settlement deal that would bring nearly two years of legal wrangling to an end.
