Clarkson Steps In As SEC's Acting Regional Director

Law360, New York (October 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- James A. Clarkson has been chosen to serve as acting regional director of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's New York regional office. Clarkson will step in for Mark Schonfeld, who left the SEC on Friday to become the co-head of the securities enforcement practice at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
