Law Firm, Web Site Operator Battle Over Trademark

Law360, New York (October 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A small Virginia firm specializing in Internet law is embroiled in a legal battle with a man who publishes disparaging comments about the firm online and is accusing the firm's owner of using trademark law to limit his free speech.

Michigan resident Ronald Riley filed a declaratory judgment action Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia against John Dozier and Dozier Internet Law PC over Dozier's attempts to assert trademark claims against him.
