Supreme Court Won't Hear Appeal In Stent Dispute

Law360, New York (October 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear Boston Scientific Corp.'s appeal in a long-running battle with a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary over stent patents, but a number of issues in the suit, including damages totaling $1.2 billion with interest, still remain open to appeal.

Boston Scientific had appealed a January decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
