Bankrupt SGI Hires Consultant To Evaluate Patents

Law360, New York (June 23, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- High-performance computer maker Silicon Graphics Inc. is set to hire consulting firm CRA International to help value certain of its patents as part of its Chapter 11 proceedings.

If a judge for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan approves SGI’s request for a consultant, CRA International Inc.’s Jonathan D. Yellin will become the principal assigned to the case.

Yellin’s firm is known for providing legal and consulting services in the areas of antitrust, finance, environment and intellectual property, among others.
