Pfizer Accused Of Manipulating Epilepsy Drug Data

Law360, New York (October 08, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Plaintiffs seeking class action status in a multidistrict litigation against Pfizer Inc. have submitted documents allegedly showing that the drug giant's employees suppressed negative information about the epilepsy drug Neurontin.

The documents, which included excepts of internal Pfizer employee e-mails, were filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Monday.

Thomas M. Greene, a Boston attorney representing plaintiffs in the case, said that the documents should help plaintiffs achieve class action status.
