Law360, New York (October 10, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has dismissed multidistrict litgation in which several companies including Bertelsmann Inc., Capitol Records Inc., Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Time Warner Inc. stood accused of fixing prices for digital music.
Judge Loretta A. Preska of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York issued a 39-page order on Thursday granting the defendants' July 30 motion to dismiss the second consolidated putative class action complaint.
