Thelen Seeking To Unload Some Groups: Reports

Law360, New York (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP is reportedly looking to sell a number of practices and offices to other firms, following failed merger talks, a number of high-profile defections and the recent dissolution of fellow San Francisco-based firm Heller Ehrman LLP.

Thelen, which indicated in July it would like to merge with another firm, may hold onto a central group of attorneys and has not officially discussed breaking up the firm completely, The Recorder reported Thursday.
