Okla. Sues McKesson Over Reported Drug Prices

Law360, New York (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The state of Oklahoma has sued drug wholesaler McKesson Corp. and medical data publisher First DataBank Inc. for allegedly inflating the average wholesale prices of hundreds of drugs.

The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, is one of a number antitrust suits already filed against McKesson and others over average wholesale prices.

Oklahoma alleges that McKesson, the nation's largest wholesale drug distributor, and First DataBank reported false average wholesale prices for the drugs McKesson sold to retail pharmacies....
