As frequently happens with the NDAA, Congress included a host of cybersecurity-related issues, such as designations to organize military departments cyber capabilities, requirements on the U.S. Department of Defense to evaluate cyber vulnerabilities of weapons systems and to conduct assessments of U.S. Cyber Command's ability to defend the United States from cyberattacks, and even an authorization of military cyber operations. But tucked away in Section 1641 are a set of cyber liability protections for the defense industrial base that have become law with little fanfare....
