Deals Rumor Mill: AB InBev, Mondelez, EcoRodovias

By Benjamin Horney (December 1, 2015, 6:23 PM EST) -- U.S. regulators are planning to take a close look next week at Anheuser-Busch InBev's more than $100 billion offer to buy fellow brewer SABMiller, according to a Tuesday report from Dow Jones. According to the report, the examination of potential antitrust issues related to the deal, set for Dec. 8, will be attended by the likes of AB InBev CEO Carlos Brito, Molson Coors CEO Mark Hunter and American Antitrust Institute President Diana Moss, among others. The report comes just a day after rumors surfaced that AB InBev was looking to sell the Peroni and Grolsch brands it would acquire in the deal in an effort to ease concerns from regulatory authorities over the combined company's position in Europe's premium beer market....
