Deals Rumor Mill: Dow, Credit Suisse, General Electric

By Benjamin Horney (December 9, 2015, 6:11 PM EST) -- Dow Chemical Co. and DuPont Co. are nearing a deal that would see the two chemical giants unite, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, and an announcement could come within the next few days. According to the report, if the duo does decide to merge, the deal would be followed by a three-way breakup of the combined company. Each company has a market capitalization of about $60 billion, the report added, and a tie-up would create a single chemical behemoth boasting more than $90 billion in combined sales....
